We 13, we went to the Piazza Castello in Milan.
We found and we got into the meter and already here, we realized that there was something different than a normal Sunday in February. Packed like sardines, two in the afternoon. Contrary to what one might think we started to smile, because almost all were headed downtown, where we were going, all for the same reason.
I got First, because the expected output is not available, we start on foot and arrived a little late, we find it packed full of people, many women and many men of all ages.
That's nice. What people are there? There's the people. There is the whole of Italy.
There is the person that you find in the supermarket queue in front of you in the morning by car. There are mothers aunts, grandmothers, young people and students, usually all different. There are many fathers, so many companions in life, many young people today want to be at our fianco.
support our parents, our friends, our children and now we lack the courage to say that our resources are running out, that our patience is at the limit. A drop close to each other, like a lazy river in flood, we know into the streets, together, united, standing next to people who share our struggles, we feel stronger and more recognized in the eyes of those who have seen next to us, that we are not alone.
The waving of the white scarves that are a symbol of Italy that calls for dignity.
Yesterday we saw an amazing amount raised to heaven, siano sempre di più, una per ognuno di noi.
